Christian has nearly two decades of experience helping employers across the world manage rising healthcare costs. He began his career with a Singapore-based actuarial consulting firm, working with multinational companies including McDonald’s, Unilever and Toyota. He helped implement some of the first consumer-driven health plans and employer wellness programs, long before these strategies became popular in the United States.

Co-Founder, Health at Work Wellness Actuaries

In 2006, Christian co-founded Health at Work Wellness Actuaries in Dallas, leveraging the growing field of behavioral economics to couple innovative insurance models with proven data about what motivates employees to change.

Director and Practice Leader of Cooper Benefits

Following the purchase of Health at Work Wellness Actuaries by the Cooper Aerobics Center, Christian served as executive director and practice leader of Cooper Benefits. This partnership and rebranding with Cooper created a unique opportunity to build a consulting platform based entirely on health risk improvement, giving clients access to more than 30 years of health and wellness science complied by the physicians and researchers at the nonprofit Cooper Institute.

Lockton Companies, Partner

After joining Lockton Companies as a partner in 2011, Christian helped develop the Health Risk Management platform used nationally by Lockton today, while expanding his expertise to include a broad range of topics: Total Cost of Care, Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), risk management/stop-loss coverage, specialty pharmacy and more.

Continued Community Involvement

Christian has served as a healthcare expert for the Dallas Business Journal and authored or co-authored articles for industry publications. He is active in the Dallas community, raising money and serving on the boards of two local charities: the KBIC Foundation and Junior Achievement of Dallas.
